PROFIL LEE DONG-WOOK, PEMERAN WANG YEO DI DRAMA GOBLIN

Lee Dong Wook adalah aktor terbaik Korea Selatan yang terkenal melalui peranannya dalam drama televisi My Girl, La Dolce Vita dan Scent of a Woman. Ia lahir di Seoul, 6 November 1981. Aktor tampan yang pernah menempuh pendidikan di Joongbu University – Broadcasting and Media Arts ini aktif dalam dunia hiburan Korea sejak tahun 1999 silam. Dengan demikian maka terlihat jelas bagaimana eksistensinya dalam dunia seni.

Di dunia akting, Lee Dong Wook telah berperan di sejumlah film layar lebar dan serial televisi. Beberapa film yang sukses ia bintangi adalah Heartbreak Library, The Recipe, dan The Beauty Inside. Memang hingga kini dirinya belum banyak membintangi film yaitu hanya 5 film saja.

Namun untuk layar kaca, Lee Dong Wook telah membintangi sekitar 28 serial televisi. Di awal karirnya yaitu tahun 1999, Dong-wook berperan dalam serial berjudul MBC Best Theater “길밖에도 세상은 있어” sebagai Sung-joon dan School 2 sebagai Lee Kang-san. Karirnya pun hingga saat ini masih terus bersinar. Lee Dong Wook pun sampai kini masih terus dipercaya untuk membintangi berbagai serial televisi.

Kini di tahun 2016, Lee Dong Wook kembali berperan dalam sebuah K-drama. Dalam drama berjudul Goblin yang tayang di tvN ini, ia berperan sebagai Wang Yeo. Wang Yeo adalah malaikat maut yang menemani hidup Goblin. Entah bagaimana caranya, mereka akhirnya hidup bersama. Drama yang memiliki judul lain Guardian: The Lonely and Great God ini memang kini menjadi drama terpopuler belakangan ini. Hal ini terbukti dari tingginya rating yang diperoleh oleh drama ini.
